Just wanted to thank you Cherry Tree farm for giving us a very relaxing few days on your site. We used to take our children camping down there (albeit 12 years ago) and we wanted a nostalgic visit!
We were not disappointed. The site is spacious, private, the hedges make good field dividers and very quiet.
The showers have all been updated and there is plenty of hot water after coming out of the surf.
Would thoroughly recommend this site. We only stayed for 3 nights but it felt like a week!! We will be back. Cathy Webb AUG 2013
This will be our 3rd year Camping at Cherry Tree farm, having been avid campers for many years, with our now grown up Children, I can only say the campsite is as close to perfect as we have ever encountered, The location is heavenly,with only a short walk to the beach and Croyde village, It has a Beautiful Sea veiw, The staff are extremely welcoming and curtious, and the site is perfectly maintained.Not many Camp site's get the balance right but 'Cherry Tree Farm' certainly have.

We left last sunday after a fab week at cherry tree. back to reality this week at work :-( but I wanted to say a massive thank you and to add the campsite is great and the staff are very polite and friendly. staff always working hard to make sure the campsite is always clean. we will be back!

Excellent, friendly staff, location fantastic, showers clean at all times and plenty of amenities near by. Good rates and will defo be re-booking next year. Nice NOT to be woken by barking dogs or treading in dog poo on the way back from the pub. LOVED IT. 5 minute walk to the beach. Great views. Thanks

Hi, we have just returned from our first visit to your campsite at Croyde Bay. Just thought I should drop you a line to say that, having visited many many campsites in the UK and abroad this was by far the best. The brilliant young team who you have employed to run it were always smiling, helpful and efficient. The showers were hot and the facilities really clean. I also liked the finishing touches, the freezer pack swap for example is unique and, although I had to have it explained every single day, it worked a treat. Brilliant. Also, the wetsuit rinsing hose and bucket was simple but really made such a difference. And just having a plastic washing up bowl in the sinks made it so much easier. The thai meal was great value and handy when camp cooking can be a bit arduous. We hired from the surf hire too. I would like you to pass on my thanks to the team from all of us, they will remember I was the one who could never understand the freezer pack system. We stayed 6 nights this year but are planning to come for longer in 2013. Magnificent. Well done. Perhaps you could consider running courses on how to run a campsite.....

Hello there, not really an enquiry but more a thank you note to all the
staff who made our stay so enjoyable over the half term break .A massive
thanks also to the staff in the office and on the gate on the thursday night
when the gale force winds hit! thanks for the loan of your truck to help
shelter our tent and even though we lost the tent in the end we would not of
lasted the night without that truck! We look forward to our next stay with

Just returned from weekend break at Cherry Tree Farm.
A fantastic site, we were pleasantly surprised, have stayed at quite a few camp sites in Devon and Cornwall and this was one of the best positioned sites we have stayed at.
Immaculately clean, friendly staff, amazing position over looking Croyde beach and the sea, showers good size and no extra charge for these, everything on hand, beach, pubs, restaurants, coast path.
Walked to Putsburough sands on coast path for breakfast, which was very good.
Will be booking another weekend in july.

"Our stay at Cherry Tree Farm in August this year was the best, carefree camping experience we have had for many years. The site has lovely, spacious pitches with plenty of room to play. The staff were incredibly hard-working, and nothing was too much trouble. The fact that the gate was manned gave peace of mind, and there was a really friendly feel to the site. The toilets, if rather basic, were always clean and well-maintained, and the family-sized showers were great. It was invaluable to be able to charge up our mobile phones for a small fee for charity, and it was really handy that reception was manned until 11pm. Croyde Bay was a mere 5-minute walk away and saved a fortune on parking fees! We had an amazing stay which we hope to repeat next year. Thank you Cherry Tree Farm!" The King family, August 2011

The campsite was so fab and you can tell that you are all fantastic at keeping it that way. Our pitch was brilliant with superb views too!
I am on the border of booking the whole six weeks holiday I'll have next summer but I think I should check who will look after my cat!

We were camping at your site in August and we enjoyed our stay. The staff you have employed were brilliant. The ice pack and charging phones etc very good idea for charity. I would recommend this site to anybody wanting to camp in Croyde.

Good Evening
I would just like to record our thanks for a great weekend. When we visited your site to make our booking we were looked after by a very efficient, and helpful young lady, who also was on reception when we arrived for the weekend. The change of pitch was to our advantage, and we had tremendous views, even though the weather was not particularly kind. Everyone working on the campsite had a smile, we did visit one site where I think there was a competition for the best scowl, the reception was very well run, the bins were regularly emptied, and the sinks, toilets, and showers were kept extremely clean, even after some very heavy rain. We would certainly visit your campsite again, and will recommend it to our friends and family.

Hello, I'd just like to comment on how wonderfully beautiful Cherry Tree Campsite is. I've been going there for the past 4 years now, and it is the perfect family get-away. Only a 15 minute walk to the cute little village of Croyde Bay including lovely ice-cream, a post office and pub. Then a 10 minute walk to Croyde Bay beach! There were phone chargers availbable, as well a cold ice. All the toilets and showers are cleaned daily and there are taps for washing up. The staff are lovely too, I'd highly recommend anyone to stay there.

I would thouroughly recommend Cherry Tree farm to anybody, the first time I went was with my parents as a child and I absolutely loved it, so much that I took my boyfriend and friends there a few years later and now me and my boyfriend and our own family are looking forward to spending another weekend there, this place will always give us all very fond memories and we look forward to coming back everytime!

Liked: We very much enjoyed our stay at Cherry Tree Farm. This was a site we found in the "Time Out" camping book. The staff were friendly from the beginning when we booked our pitch - right the way through to the end of our stay! The facilities were excellent, the site was clean. We liked the way they separated groups into different fields, e.g. families in one field; groups and couples in another. To really top it all off, the views were incredible and the site was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the village (10 minute walk down the hill) and was lovely and quiet! Croyde is only small and there are a few local shops and three pubs- but everyone was friendly and the beaches/ towns nearby are gorgeous! We are planning to go back again already and have recommended to friends too!
Disliked: All we would say is that for 3 nights we felt the price was a little expensive, but we enjoyed ourselves and would pay the price again!
Liked: Everything! Lovely views and a lovely campsite! Booking was easy with quick email's to and fro! Check in on arrival was speedy and we were shown to our pitch in the 'Strawberry' field. After a little exploring we found the site was actually a lot bigger than we thought but the larger groups were in a seperate field so we weren't kept awake at night! The showers were better than the one we have at home and were always clean and warm! We will be back in 2011 and can't wait!
Disliked: NOTHING!
